Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as one of sport's best athletes. Biles along with her younger sister Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone became interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for eleven years under supervision of trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles took home a medal for vaulting, as well as a gold medal on the floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began participating in the elite level of competition. Within less than two years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline.
