LeBron Raymone James Sr., born 30th December 1984, is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players and is frequently compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous basketball player. James has taken home four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is second in most career goals and seventh most assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times. James has been named as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named to his place on the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He was the 3rd player to participate in NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from the year 2011 until 2018. In 2021, James was chosen to join make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player of NBA history to accumulate at least 10,000 career points as well as assists and rebounds. James was a basketball player during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. Media across the country portrayed James as a possible NBA star. As a prep to pro it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick during the NBA draft in 2003. He was named the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. Soon he became one of the premier athletes of the NBA, winning both the NBA MVP Award both as of 2009 and in 2010. James signed a free-agent contract in 2010, after he failed to win championships with Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent moves in sports history.
