Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into the family of South London. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss and her mother is English. Her family was raised in the south of a London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She earned her BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The stage she appeared in was many productions while attending school like King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making guest appearances in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. After the film's success, Madekwe played Elisha on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared for six seasons Trexx as well as Flipside. Also, the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe also starred as the title character in How to lose friends & betray people and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. Her stage credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama program aired in the US on The CW for only two episodes, but it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character from ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. In late May 2013, it was announced that Madekwe who had appeared on the show as a series regular for the previous two seasons had decided to quit the show with a guest appearance on the premiere episode of the new season. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem as Tituba. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for the Gemini Award, is a member of an extensive Hamilton family. Her four older brothers were also in the family and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winters and baseball in the summer, so that she grew up playing in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley did not have the ability to actually walk. She would dance. At 2 and a 1/2, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley fell in love with dancing at the age of. Ashley was a dancer who competed throughout the various divisions until she finished high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, jazz, tap as well as pointe and the acrobatics. Ashley was awarded the top soloist prize at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just some.
